Description

Meet the "Tsunami" Gilick! The Leviathan Gilick was my favorite evolution from the demo, so I wanted to show it some love by making an upgraded version to take on the abyss!

"Cannon Ball" is an incredibly strong secondary ability, and in conjunction with the lethal refreshment enhancement it means the fun never stops so long as you have enemies to kill. The problem being that, in the event that there are no smaller enemies to kill, there is no way to reasonably reset the cooldown.

To fix this flaw, I added the "Warm Up Strike" perk, which will let us reset our cooldown with a melee even in low enemy‑density environments. Not only that, but it also helps us maintain uptime with amplification, which grants cooldown reduction (CDR) as well as damage stacks. The CDR stacks are crucial, because with max stacks the cooldown of our counter refreshes while its invulnerability window is still up, meaning that with optimal play our gilick is virtually unkillable.

Your main combo should be Leap -> Counterblast -> Melee -> repeat, if you counterblast before leap and something consumes the block charge it may sometimes cancel the leap, and leap gives you three armor stacks during it anyway.

Your ultimate ability does TONS of damage to bosses so long as you have max attack power stacks from amplification and the boss is not currently in an armor phase, but make sure you only use it immediately after a leap, if you wait to long after a leap to ult your attack power and cooldown reduction stacks will expire while in the ult animation.

If you start getting into high abyss levels (100+) you need to immediately start using leaps and melees to build up your armor stacks upon entering a new level/stage so you don't get popped.

If you feel you need to, you can change From The Deep perk to a sustain perk like Vampirism. I found that I had so much block and armor that the three healing charges you get are more than sufficient, and I like the flavor of From The Deep for the theming of this voidling.

(an attached gameplay video will be added soonish.)
