The theory

Cursed Riptide Kwipeck
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cursed Riptide Kwipeck turns this tiny little bird into a cursed swordsman that made a pact for power, turned its speed into something more useful than running away, and started cutting through Abyss with bleeding waves of water.

The core of the build is Cursed Pact.

Cursed Pact makes Kwipeck take double damage, but in exchange, it triples his damage. On a fragile Voidling like Kwipeck, that sounds like a terrible idea, especially deep in Abyss where enemies already hit hard.

The way this build gets around that is cooldown reduction.

With enough cooldown, Kwipeck can hold down his defensive ability and keep refreshing it before the invulnerability drops. You basically never want to let go of that button. This build is cursed for power, not built to face-tank without protection, so if the defensive loop drops in high Abyss, things can go bad very quickly.

Once that loop is running, the gameplay is pretty straightforward:

Hold defensive button.
Keep using melee.
Learn how to drive him.

Kwipeck’s melee chain lets him basically teleport from target to target while attacking extremely fast. The main thing you have to get used to is controlling where he goes, because he moves quickly and can be a little weird to steer at first since you will never stop moving.

Riptide adds a bit of fun to the build. Every melee slash sends out a traveling wave with surprising range. The wave can be aimed, passes through enemies, and hits multiple times.

That lets you fight in two ways. You can stay up close and slash directly, or back off and let Riptide aoe take care of the masses of weaker enemies or just add a bit of chip damage to every hit. It also makes corruption cleansing feel extremely easy because your melee attacks are no longer limited to the target standing right in front of you.

The AoE is the main reason I kept Riptide. You can be hitting one boss directly while the wave travels through that target and starts whittling down another enemy behind it. It may not be the most optimized option, but it makes the build feel much better against groups and scattered targets.

Once enemies are weak enough, Bleed and execute effects help finish the job.

Now I will not lie: this isn't as strong as my Son Goku or Dark Juggernaut builds.

For stronger optimization, I think the build would be better with Strength and Recuperation instead of Exceptionally Rugged. You could also drop Riptide for something more directly powerful, like Decaying Matter, if your only goal is pushing as far as possible.

But Riptide is what made the build fun for me. It fits the cursed swordsman theme, gives Kwipeck more range, improves his AoE, and turns his melee spam into long traveling slashes that cut through the battlefield.

So while this is not some massive leaderboard-pushing monster, it still does more than most players would realistically need from a Kwipeck build, and it feels great once you learn how to control him. Just be aware that if you do drop from holding your defensive button, you are as squishy as pre wet toilet paper. Luckily, holding the button is a very small ask to remain literally immortal.

Cursed Riptide Kwipeck is simple:

Hold the defensive button.
Never let go.
Slash everything.
Let the waves spread.
Bleed them down.
Execute what survives.
