"Molemental" | Elemental Mole Morfang
The theory
This build is likely not what you'd expect from Morfang and it's certainly inconsistent but still quite fun to play. The idea was: what if Burrow was actually an offensive attack? It plays around constant damage and being burrowed most of the time. I tried different perks for heals but none relying on elemental damage seemed to work reliably after abyss 100+ so I opted for the classic Transfusion. Its attacks, neutral Dripping Swirl and plasma Feeding Frenzy, are basically there for healing only since its main source of damage is elemental. Tractor Beams paired with Smoke Cloud are a surprisingly good combo. The former's stamina regen constantly replenishes your burrow and pulls enemies in so they can be damaged by the latter's burn, on top of also applying static. Sustained by Catalyzers focused on elemental damage and armor/health, build does well up to levels 200+, where it starts to struggle and is highly susceptible to one-shots (I exploded at 269). Here, Tractor Beams' pull starts to become a problem since it stacks a huge quantity of enemies directly on top of you so you need to watch your step and emerge with Feeding Frenzy to heal every once in a while (it is also not gentle on your fps). Burrowed uppercut is also quite useful when there are too many incoming attacks or when you need a little break. Ultimate also mainly serves as a break from the constant movement but it also helps setting elemental stacks without worrying due to the invulnerability while setting mines. Main element is Plasma because of course it is.
To wrap it up, build absolutely shatters the first 100 floors, is usable up to ~200 but kinda stops working after ~250. I am pretty sure it could go further than 263 but I don't need it to. It is very fun to play, gives an extra challenge of managing enemies around with Burrow and for not being meta, I think it works just fine.
