The theory

Foxfire Anami is built around the idea of a yako that has learned to command kitsunebi, or foxfire, for herself. She hunts from a distance with swarms of tracking shards before closing in and dancing around her prey while spectral orbs of foxfire weave across the battlefield. Anything caught between them is carved apart, bled dry, and either left to fade or devoured to restore her own strength.

Theory

The build revolves around Empowering Orb and Amplification turning Linked Generator into a massive all-damage buff. Five stacks are easy to maintain for 100% increased damage, while strong execution can briefly push that to ten stacks for 200%.

Because so much of her damage comes from commanding those foxfire orbs, we only need True Neutral offensively and can invest heavily into survivability. 565 Armor roughly mimics a single armor stack, while additional HP lets Anami survive large hits even deep into Abyss.

Her entire kit can rapidly apply Bleed, which scales with our damage buffs, fuels Transfusion for healing, and lets Fatal Wound effectively cut bleeding enemies' health in half. Focused Gaze and Charming Gaze then reward Anami for staying on her prey, adding even more damage and survivability through normal play.

How to Play

Keep cycling Linked Generator to maintain at least five Empowering Orb stacks. For ten stacks, cast all three stored generators, keep them away from Anami, then use two more as their charges recover.

Treat the generators like foxfire dancing around Anami. Position them through enemies whenever possible for repeated damage and Bleed procs, but do not let them touch her since a returning generator wipes all five Empowering Orb stacks.

Stay mobile with sprinting, jumping, and Bunny Hop while weaving around both your prey and your foxfire. Bunny Hop can pass directly through enemies and is especially useful for repositioning.

Keep Bleed applied constantly, usually with Freezing Shards. Against bosses or other safe single targets, keep your primary trained on them to take advantage of Focused Gaze and Charming Gaze while you continue circling and controlling your generators.

The ultimate is situational. Its damage does not benefit much from the build's stacking, but it can still be useful during safe openings for its cooldown reduction.

Damn dude good job on making an Anami build. Was starting to think no one made one because Anami was in a bad spot. Uses bleed sure. But what sets it apart for me is you kept true to its natural kit, kept it agile so it's true to how it's advertised in game... BUT at the same time defied it in a good way cause you stood still tanking stuff too. Then you tied it to a mythological theme.
