The primary ability is Recovery Vault, which is your bread and butter for constant self-sustain. And yes, you can heal by just attacking the air.
The secondary ability: Last Breath Launch for some reason the minions act like suicide bombers despite the description. So, even if they run out, they still track enemies as projectiles. This is part of your burst damage setup.
For mutated perks, Power Drain helps reduce enemy damage plus buff you, Deadly Weakness helps push your damage which is based off of have disintegration stacks, which this plasma setup inherently does, and Amplification makes the minion burst loop work while making you stronger overall.
With the catalyzers, your damage is higher and more consistent with high sustain – over 300 hp healing per primary ability use. With maxed Vitality, high HP, and attacking twice a second, you out-heal most damage instantly, at least until high Abyss levels.
This is a highly engaged, speed and dodging build with just enough enough tankiness survive till you start getting one shot. Gwigoon also has dodging with iframes. The agility threshold also allows you to fly over stages and skip a lot of Point A to Point B abyss levels.
The main damage loop is simple.
Use your minion summon to stack Amplification.
Then, at max stacks, summon your minions and use Aerial Pull straight into your target.
That lets both you and the minions do buffed damage on impact, and then the minions do their normal damage on top of it.
Between those burst moments, you are spamming primary attack, avoiding damage, maintaining Amplification, healing, and flying around when needed.
How to Fly:
Flying is simple.
Double jump, use Aerial Pull upward, then hold primary attack while moving forward.
Use Aerial Pull again to gain altitude, and repeat.
That is the key to making Gwigoon literally fly over the map.
