The Immortal Son Goku
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Ya'll. Some of you might know me as Split Bear on YT. This is the completely revamped version of my original Son Goku Build.
This is not just a small tweak to the original Son Goku Gwigoon build. I changed enough here that this feels like a true new version — and this one earns the name The Immortal Son Goku.
The goal of this build is simple: keep Gwigoon fast, keep the minions active, add more raw killing power, and stack enough survivability that most of Abyss stops feeling like a threat.
And yeah, I know “immortal” sounds dramatic. But this build reached Abyss 2001 on Wrangler. Unless you are crazy like me and trying to push past level 2000, this thing survives basically everything when played correctly.
It is not the kind of immortal where you can turn your brain off. You still have to stay active, manage your positioning, keep at least one minion with you, and be extremely mindful of your dodge. Gwigoon’s dodge is your main way to manually avoid damage because of its i-frames, so wasting it at the wrong time can still get you punished.
That is a big part of how this build plays. Sometimes you stay on the ground, keep your minions close, and tank through the chaos. Other times, you stay airborne and use Gwigoon’s flight to avoid the bigger threats entirely.
Your biggest danger is taking huge burst hits, especially from mortar enemies. So even with all this tankiness, you still need to time your attacks, watch your positioning, and avoid eating those hits directly to the face.
For this version, you are going Plasma / Neutral / Plasma so you can take advantage of both Disintegration and Bleed.
Your primary ability is Bouncing Spark. This is your main safe attack, and it is excellent for spreading Bleed, which is where a lot of your healing comes from. The big advantage here is that Bouncing Spark does not slow you down when it hits enemies, because it is ranged. That makes the whole build feel smoother, faster, and safer than the original version.
Your secondary ability is Gargantuan Landing, and this is where the tankiness comes from. The key is staying close to your minions as much as possible. Ideally, you want all three with you, but at the very least, try to keep one minion alive next to you at all times.
That said, the damage does eventually get high enough that even the larger minions can die, so you still have to play around that instead of assuming the defense will always be there.
Together, Bouncing Spark and Gargantuan Landing turn Gwigoon into a tiny mobile artillery platform. You are flying around, spreading Bleed, healing through chaos, and using your minions as both damage and defense.
Aerial Pull is still a major part of the build too. It hits hard, especially when all three minions connect, and it is also what lets this version fly better than ever.
For mutated perks, you want:
Transfusion
Decaying Matter
Fatal Wound
The most important thing is keeping Bleed active as much as possible. Bleed keeps your healing going, and that healing is what lets this build survive situations that should probably kill it.
But your minions matter just as much. Stay with them whenever you can, because that is where the build’s biggest tankiness comes from. When you are moving between areas, you can start losing health, so chain dodges for invulnerability, look for healing pickups when needed, and do not get careless just because the build feels unkillable.
This is still a very active build. You are constantly moving, dodging, flying, spamming abilities, managing minions, and deciding when to tank versus when to avoid damage completely. The difference is that now you have way more safety backing up that playstyle.
The main damage loop is simple:
Summon your minions, use Bouncing Spark to spread Bleed, and keep spamming Aerial Pull whenever you can, especially when all three minions are lined up to hit. You are not always doing the biggest single damage numbers, but you are attacking extremely fast, healing constantly, and using skills on very low cooldowns.
How to Fly
Flying is simple.
Double jump, use Aerial Pull upward, then hold your primary attack while moving forward.
Use Aerial Pull again to gain altitude, then repeat.
That is the key to making Gwigoon fly over the map and skip a lot of the Point A to Point B Abyss levels.
So yeah — this is The Immortal Son Goku: faster, stronger, tankier, better at flying, and for any reasonable Abyss push, functionally unkillable when played correctly.
So... I think I'm retiring from extreme abyss pushing because at this point the enemies don't really scale anymore. Honestly I think anything in the 200-300 range is already a great build.
