Fast breeding in Voidling Bound (hatch eggs faster)
The fast way to breed is to farm the shortest mission on repeat. Eggs appear and progress around mission completions, not a timer, so the more missions you finish per hour, the more eggs you roll and hatch. Everything here uses the game’s real breeding systems; what the community adds is which mission is quickest and which voidling clears it fastest.
Breeding runs on missions, not a timer
The Breeding Station unlocks after the Reclaim Sanctuary mission and holds up to 3 Pheromone Nests, each taking two voidlings of the same species. Every time you complete a mission, one or more eggs (up to 3) can appear, collected when you return. So the loop runs on mission completions: with your nests active, keep running missions instead of idling at the ship, and a single quick mission can hand you up to three eggs at once.
Farm the shortest mission
Set your breeding pairs, then repeat the quickest mission on loop. Two good options on Vireo (the first planet):
- On the Precipice (level 3 side activity) clears in under a minute. This is the pick: it is basically just kill the enemies and the boss, with no map to cross.
- Faint Signal (level 1) takes about 1 min 20 s, slower because you have to move across the map and clear sections before advancing.
From my own testing, On the Precipice is the fastest because it is pure combat with no traversal. Your mileage may vary, and other short missions work too. The number that matters is missions per hour, so use whatever you clear fastest.
Bring a voidling that ends it in seconds
The faster the clear, the more eggs per hour, so bring high single-target burst or a wide AoE that wipes the fight fast. A community favorite for farming is the Nimiod: its AoE attack clears packs quickly, and it pairs with the Packet Vacuum effect from the Cerebrum Enhancer’s tertiary slot to also pull in Research Points while you farm. Any hard-hitting AoE or burst voidling works.
Make every hatch count
Breeding starts at a 50% reduction on inherited stats. Buy Hatchery upgrades from Henry to push that toward 100%, so offspring keep more of the parents’ stats. Hatch the egg, compare the baby to both parents, keep the strongest as the next parent, and repeat until the stat line and Nature are where you want them.
Splice last, or get the breeding upgrade
By default a spliced voidling cannot breed, so splicing a parent too early removes it from your chain. There is a Spliced Breeding upgrade (Wrangler level 45) that lets spliced voidlings breed; until you have it, finish your breeding chain and splice the final voidling last. When you are ready to splice, plan it in the Splicing Simulator, and see the Neutral Spliced Bleed guide for a strong target to breed toward.
